Hey there, it’s Matt. I thought I’d begin by explaining why I started looking for coffee table plans. My wife was sick and tired of looking at our old coffee table, and when one of our kids accidentally cracked the top she had the only excuse she needed!
When this happened she asked me to take some time and make her a new coffee table. I didn’t put up much resistance because I really love working in my shop.
Of course I needed a good set of coffee table plans. Woodworking project plans should be easy to find online, you’d think. Well, sure enough they were easy to find.
Only the problem was that the plans for coffee tables I found online were awful. The free plans were even worse. I mocked one of them up and it was so unstable there was no way it would be usable.
So scratch free woodworking plans and enter in a search for high quality plans for a coffee table.
